2015 US Open Preview: Gabbing with Genie Bouchard

GlamSpinTennis had the pleasure of speaking with Genie Bouchard at the W Hotel at the Taste of Tennis NYC.  Genie looked amazing in a cute dress from Night Cap, available at Blue and Cream in NYC. Taste of Tennis is a tradition taking place in the days leading up to the US Open . The event pairs tennis fans with fine dining, cooking demonstrations, and tennis mega-stars. On the day of the event, the world discovered that Genie Bouchard was being coached by Jimmy Connors when they showed up on the US Open practice courts together. Jimmy Connors is a former ATP World No. 1, multiple slam winner, and the ex-coach of Andy Roddick and Maria Sharapova.  Genie said, "we were training elsewhere for a few weeks," to explain how she kept her new partnership with Jimmy under wraps.  She also confirmed that they did not color coordinate their practice attire.  Both were sporting lavender hues during her practice session, "I noticed that when we wer...

Who Wore it Better? Genie, Maria, or Madison

A number of astute tennis fans have come down with Genie-mania .  Genie Bouchard is in the QF of the 2014 Australian Open, which is the furthest the 19-year old has ever gone at a major.  In addition to her talent, Genie's been blessed with good looks and a major title will likely knock her into the marketing superstar stratosphere currently occupied by Maria Sharapova .  Genie is rocking the Nike Maria Sharapova collection which also graced Madison Keys , the up-and-coming American teenager, at the tournament.  Maria also donned the same outfit with a different colored top two weeks ago during her run to the SF round in Sydney.  As you can see below, Genie is tucking her top while Maria and Madison wore their shirts out.  Madison and Maria also appear to have on shorter skorts while Genie's is at a more modest length.  Who wore it better?
