Year in Review: Aga Radwanska

Aga Radwanska went 0-3 in Round Robin matches at the 2013 WTA Championships in Istanbul.

Aga won 3 titles this year - she started the year off strong in Australia, winning Auckland and Sydney. She bookended the strong start by winning Seoul in September. The Asia-Pacific region has been good to Aga.

Here's a look back at her year on the tour.


JANUARY :
  • Won 11th WTA title at Auckland (d. Wickmayer in final); 
  • Won 12th WTA title at Sydney (d. Cibulkova in final); 
  • Reached QF at Australian Open (l. to Li). 


FEBRUARY 
  • Reached SF at Doha (l. to Azarenka); 
  • Reached QF at Dubai (l. to Kvitova). 


MARCH 
  • Reached 4r at Indian Wells (l. to Kirilenko); reached SF at Miami (l. to S.Williams). 

APRIL 
  • Did not play. 


MAY 
  • Reached 2r at Madrid (l. to Robson); 
  • Dropped opening match at Rome (after 1r bye, l. to Halep in 2r);
  • Withdrew from Brussels w/right shoulder injury
  • Reached QF at Roland Garros (l. to Errani). 


JUNE 
  • Fell in the first round at Eastbourne (l. to Hampton); 
  • Reached SF at Wimbledon (l. to Lisicki). 


JULY 
  • Runner-up at Stanford (l. to Cibulkova in final); 
  • Reached QF at Carlsbad (l. to Stosur). 


AUGUST 
  • Reached SF at Toronto (l. to S.Williams); 
  • Reached QF at Cincinnati (withdrew prior to match w/personal reasons); 
  • Reached 4th round at US Open (l. to Makarova).




 SEPTEMBER 

  • Won 13th WTA title at Seoul (d. Pavlyuchenkova in final);
  • Reached QF at Tokyo (l. to Kerber); 
  • Reached SF at Beijing (l. to S.Williams). 
October
  • Lost round robin match to S. Williams in Istanbul at the 2013 WTA Championships
  • Lost round robin match to Kvitova in Istanbul at the 2013 WTA Championships
  • Lost round robin match to Kerber in Istanbul at the 2013 WTA Championships
