Happy 2015! Thank goodness the tennis season has begun! The nearly 2 week break was rough, wasn't it?

As we journey Down Under to the Australian Open, we have arrived at one of the best stops of the year in Western Australia - the Hopman Cup.

When watching the Hopman Cup, don't you wish every tournament and slam had a mixed doubles tournament? GlamSpinTennis sure does.

Alas, other that this detour to Perth, we only get to see official mixed doubles pairings at the Olympic Games every 4 years.

Australian Open 2022: Welcome Back

It's been a while, hasn't it. Where to even begin with the crazy 2022 Australian Open! 2 thoughts for your consideration on Day 2. The deuces are wild. 1. The ATP is facing a leadership vacuum: L'Affair Djokovic took the air out of the tournament over the preceding fortnight. During that period, the ATP was notably silent regarding the ongoings and detainment of its top star. US Open 2018: Welcome Back & New Logo

Well...it's been 2 years hasn't it. That's what heading to grad school will do to a person. Sometimes the axiom, 'the more things change, the more they stay the same,' rings true. But sometimes, as with the case of the US Open's new logo, one steps away, and comes to find that things have gone completely awry. Is this Arial font? Are these letters lower case? Really, in this political climate, lower case US? Is lower case an affront to becoming great again? Also, is this logo actually in Arial Italics? According to the USTA, "t he logo created by renowned graphic design firm Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv, is a streamlined and modernized version of the tournament’s iconic flaming ball logo, which was first introduced in 1997."
